Description
Milimetro is a minimalist series of lights with a focus on clean lines and a holistic look. The light was designed by Norwegian designer Daniel Rybakken for Italian design company Luceplan, which is known for its innovative and experimental approach to lighting.
The lighting collection consists of wall and pendant lights in various designs, sizes and colour options. What sets them all apart is their ultra-thin design. The lampshade consists of a disc that is only one millimetre thick, which is where the series gets its name, but at the same time has an impressive width that provides diffused light when the light is switched on. The underside of the disc is high-gloss, while the LED light source is placed on the top, so that the light does not dazzle but is directed upwards in a diffuse uplight that spreads beautifully throughout the room and creates a pleasant lighting effect.
