The glass shade has a milky white surface that evens out the light so that it appears soft and uniform, creating diffused all-round lighting. As the shade is also open at the bottom, the light can also penetrate into a practical direct downlight. The glass in this lamp is mouth-blown and individually processed. Due to the unique manufacturing process, air bubbles can occur in the glass and the thickness of the glass can vary from lamp to lamp.
