Description
The Strand pendant Ø80 was designed by Benjamin Hubert, who focuses on experience-driven designs powered by his creative approach to his work. The Strand pendant is composed of a steel construction, coated with thin layers of small threads of the cocoon material (polypropylene fibres). Just like a cocoon, the thin layers come together to form a complex, semi-transparent structure. The lamp is easy to clean, as the material can be wiped down with a moist cloth.
A warm and diffuse glow shines through the lampshade, while a direct light flows from the top and the base of the lamp. Suspended above a dining or coffee table, the lampshade illuminates the table and emits a calm, harmonic light.
The lamp is available in three different sizes, and thought it works particularly well on its own, the soft shapes can be combined to create a cloud-like appearance. The modern, timeless shape fits seamlessly with Scandinavian design, and its light construction makes it look like it’s floating in mid-air..
