The slender brass rings surround the glass globe shades and seems to push them ever so slightly at an angle, juxtaposing with the bulbs (not included) and lampholders, which remain vertical.

The suspension can be adjusted upon installation so it will suit most ceiling heights. Once fitted, you can experiment with he clinching ring to alter the aesthetics by bringing the globes closer together, or having them further apart.
