LED eco-friendly lamps to replace R7s linear halogen lamp. They are obviously bigger but on many fixtures, the protective glass and reflector can safely be removed to accommodate the larger envelope.

Although the flat lamp gives fewer lumens, the light output is comparable as all the light is directed forwards.

Notes on dimming: When replacing halogen bulbs in your light fixture with LED bulbs please check to ensure the rating of the dimmer (in watts) suits the lower load of LED lamps, otherwise the replacement bulbs may not dim as required or at all.
